RM Johnson was born April 1, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois. He started his career
in the arts as a young sketch artist. After graduating from Morgan Park High School in 1986, he enlisted in the United States
Army as a radiologic technologist. He spent time stateside and abroad. After an honorable discharge, he started school at
Columbia College in Chicago as a film major. That same year he realized he preferred the challenge of writing fiction and
switched his major. RM attended a total of four undergraduate schools and graduated after four years from University of Louisiana
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Science. While in college, he had written plays, one of which became the basis
for his first novel, The Harris Men, which was published in 1999 by Simon & Schuster. RM published a series of books after
that, to include Father Found, The Harris Family, Love Frustration, Dating Games, and The Million Dollar Divorce. In 2004,
RM enrolled in Chicago State University to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing, which he received in 2006.
After that, he published Do You Take This Woman, Stacie and Cole, The Million Dollar Deception, Why Men Fear Marriage and
The Million Dollar Demise. In April of 2011, RM published his first e-book, Keeping the Secret, under his publishing company
MarcusArts. Keeping the Secret 2 will follow in November of 2011.The best-selling novelist, E. Lynn Harris was a good friend
and mentor to RM Johnson, and they had spoken for years of collaborating on a novel. In June 2011, two years after E. Lynn
Harris' passing, No One in the World was published by Simon & Schuster. RM Johnson is an award winning, best-selling novelist
of adult, young adult and non-ficiton. He is currently searching for talented writers to publish under his small publishing
company, and putting the finishing touches on the much anticipated sequel in The Million Dollar saga, Deceit & Devotion.
